Job Role - Link Good Neighbour Co-ordinator

This is a great opportunity for somebody who is computer and phone literate who is unable to get out a lot and who wants to give something back to the community. 

Main Duties

To take calls from current and prospective clients, to log these onto a computer system, and to find a volunteer who is able to carry out the task on a rota basis.

Depending on the number of co-ordinators, we would expect people to be "on duty" around 1 week in 4.

You will be expected to:

Understand and operate according to the Link Mission Statement

Maintain client confidentiality at all times

Work on a rota basis as part of the Co-ordinator team.

Take initial queries from clients. Use Link6&RWB Guidelines, assess suitability of new clients and explain how LInk6&RWB works.

Send out sign up forms for new clients, to include GDPR data.

Find a volunteer who is able to carry out the task requested. Confirm with clients and volunteers details of the agreed task.


Our co-ordinators work from home. A mobile phone and computer will be provided . Internet access will be needed.

Link6 and RWB will cover any agreed out of pocket expenses.
